My room - my bed

Its been 2 nights - that I have been sleeping in my own room - in my own bed, and so far I love it.

I just need someone to put me to bed.

If I sleep in my room for 7 days, I get to decorate my room the way I want it.

Diwali

Diwali is over. This year was fun. Here are some of the highlights:

- got to wear nice clothes - indian kind on the weekends

- mamma and baba gave me lots of gifts as it was diwali

- I got to light sparklers. (no firecrakers i.e the ones making sounds)

- bhaubeej - got gifts from Rohan (Phanse) and Padwekar family

school blues

Today I did not want to go to school. I tried very hard to stay away from it. I cried, I kicked and I complained, I even said my stomach was hurting. It worked on Friday, but it did not work today. I have been having a little cough and I tend to throw up if I cough a lot. So I got by on Friday and bunked school for the first time.
Today, I had to go to school and Baba took me walking to school. I threw up in school again. Finally told mommy, that it is because of the food smells in the school.

Its not that I do not have fun in school.. but I would just stay at home, watch tv, play with Anvi. I asked Baba how long I need to go to school.. and he said - at least till I am 21 yrs old. Ridiculous.

When I grow up..

Last week I told my dad, when I grow up, I want to
1. be a doctor
2. be a police woman
3. be a doctor who takes care of teeth (i.e dentist)
4. call friends over to my house and serve them food

My dad says these goals are a lot better than a year ago - when I really like sweeping the floors..

Saturday and Kung Fu Panda

Baba wants to buy a grill, so we visited a couple of stores (like Home Depot) to look at them. I picked up the customary Mickey Mouse(disney) paint samples and then we went to watch 'Kung Fu Panda'.
We reached at 6.25 for the 6.40 show. It was crowded and the movie refused to start. I asked at least 10 times... 'when is the movie going to start''.

I kept asking 'When is the movie going to end' ever 20 minutes after that... too many things happening in the movie.. I did not understand all of it.
Anyway, everybody else liked it .. so I said 'I liked it' also. Anvi was half asleep in the movie but kept watching it.

There were no princesses in the movie.. having a couple of them would have made the movie better.

a hectic month

The month of may was a blast.. so many things happened. It started with my aunt (atya), cousin (dada) and uncle (kaka) visiting from India. She was here for 3/4 weeks and got me lots of gifts.. :-) The very next day we had a birthday party for my lil sister in the nearby park. It was fun. Lots of things - lots of meeting people meeting with my atya. Near the end of the trip we all sat in the van and visited Las Vegas and Disneyland. Disneyland was so much fun. We met Mickey and Minnie. I hope they come often.

India trip

We are back from visiting India.. it was soo much fun. I attending several weddings of aunt and uncles.. We visited several place.. Delhi, Agra, Jaipur. I saw the Taj Mahal. It was beautiful. I got to sit in a horse driven carriage and a camel driven carriage. My dad to to get us an elephant ride - but we were late and all the rides were already booked.
I got to wear lots of nice dresses for the weddings. It was fun.
